The Investigation After Amy Bradley Disappeared

Amy Bradley's disappearance immediately became an international search. According to the FBI, Amy went missing from the Rhapsody of the Seas during the early morning hours of March 24, 1998, while the ship was traveling from Aruba toward Curaçao. The vessel later continued to other Caribbean destinations before returning to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The passage of time has not eliminated the investigation. Instead, the case has continued to generate new attention, renewed examination of old evidence, and additional claims about possible sightings and leads. Some developments have been widely reported, while others remain unverified or disputed. Separating documented information from speculation is therefore essential when examining the continuing search for Amy Bradley.

The Question That Remains

More than twenty-eight years after Amy Bradley disappeared, the central mystery remains unresolved. There is no confirmed explanation for what happened to her, and there has been no recovery that can bring certainty to the case.

The Amy Bradley disappearance is therefore not a mystery with a neat ending. It is an ongoing search for answers shaped by evidence, uncertainty, reported sightings, competing theories, and the persistence of a family that has continued to seek the truth.

Until Amy is found and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are understood, the case remains open—and the search continues.
