At My Sleuthing Addiction, we take solving mysteries as seriously as our pup Lola takes his job as household supervisor (which is to say… very seriously—with a lot of sass and heart).

Hi, I’m Traci—lifelong problem-solver, game lover, Realtor, and true crime enthusiast. My obsession with sleuthing began early. I still remember spending my first paycheck from detasseling corn to buy a tiny TV/VCR combo. I’d binge Forensic Files marathons and get completely hooked watching the clues fall into place.

That fascination with puzzles and people stuck with me. I went on to earn a degree from the University of South Dakota, and while I didn’t become a detective (officially), I’ve always been the type to think logically, dig into details, and chase after the “why.” and that is where our true crime murder mystery game began.

🔍 Why We Started

After playing just about every mystery game I could find, I realized what I really wanted was to build one—to blend storytelling, puzzle-solving, and evidence analysis into a truly immersive experience. A personal obsession turned passion project.

When I’m not plotting fictional crime scenes, I help real people make big moves as a Realtor in the Sioux Empire and support my partner Steven in his painting business. And of course, our dog Lola is always nearby, pretending he doesn’t care about true crime (but I think he secretly loves it).

This game is my first edition and it was crafted to challenge your brain, make you laugh, and deliver the satisfaction of solving a case that feels real. I’d be honored if you played it—and even more thrilled if you reached out to tell me what you thought.
